Within Oxford there are hundreds of businesses however, among these it is easy to overlook the smaller family run ones. I chose to document three of these from a small cafe named Il Corno to a florists named The Garden of Oxford to a large butchering company named Aldens. By building relationships with these businesses I was able to gain an insight into what it is like to persevere as a family run business in a city and the amazing growth and determination shown by these individuals to push through and continue to share their craft.
